The assessment of the earthquake hazard for the earthquake zonation map is from 1997 - 1999. It represents the scientific status at that time with respect to a global analysis of the earthquake hazard. The conducted earthquake hazard assessments are based upon the assumption that the observed spatio-temporal behaviour of the seismicity continues in the future. In particular, the data do not substitute national earthquake hazard estimations and do not have the status of an official seismic hazard map.
